Your Impact:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineers to help as we scale our platform. This role is focused on building and supporting the infrastructure and continuous integration pipelines for our SaaS web application.

You will evangelize 120Water by fostering strong software delivery for not only our customers but also our internal stakeholders and partners through your ownership of our software development lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor performance and scalability of our product, ensuring uptime and reliability
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines
• Develop Infrastructure as Code for managing cloud resources
• Manage infrastructure upgrades and security patches to cloud infrastructure
• Be involved in enforcing security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with architects and developers on new solutions to ensure security scalability and maintainability best practices are in place
• Conduct code reviews, documentation of approach and design
• Participate in projects with minimal supervision
• Participate in our software process quality assurance and releases
• Mentor other engineers

What you bring:

• 4+ Years of DevOps or related experience
• Bachelor of Science in CS or equivalent technical discipline
• Experience in developing modern distributed applications
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience working with relational databases
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to adjust to change in a fast paced environment
• Strong sense of initiative and desire to achieve both individually but also in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize task and goals and work within deadlines
