Biosynthetic Technologies is currently seeking an individual to work as a Logistics Supply Chain Specialist to work on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position will be responsible for supporting procurement, imports, logistics, and inventory for the North American and European markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support procurement team in bringing in raw and finished materials for a global supply chain
• Develop and refine cost-effective strategies for the procurement team
• Communicate with managers on status of materials to help mitigate supply chain disruptions
• Maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers
• Coordinate with transportation providers and customers to ensure prompt and proper movement of deliveries
• Establish order fulfillment process and maintain relationships with key customers
• Oversee inventory management and optimize inventory processes
• Conduct and present cost and inventory analyses to management teams

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelors degree in business-related field
• 3-5 years of supply chain experience preferred (chemical industry experience is a plus)
• Experience with ERP system, preferably NetSuite
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to take initiative on projects and work in collaboration with a team
