Company:
David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.
This is a compelling opportunity to be a part of an exciting new food brand as we operate within a critical growth stage. David is led by CEO Peter Rahal, the Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR. We have strong aspirations to become the most popular high-protein bar in North America and beyond.
Role:
We’re looking for a People & Office Experience Coordinator to help manage the operations of our NYC office and help create an employee experience that is high-functioning, warm, and energizing. This role will be instrumental in making David a place where people can do their best work - from running a smooth office environment to supporting culture-building and other People team efforts.
You’ll work closely with the Director of People and the Executive Assistant to ensure that both our candidates and employees have positive, human-centered, and detail-oriented experiences. This is the perfect role for someone who’s organized, people-minded, and energized by creating a welcoming and efficient workplace.
Responsibilities:
Office Management & Operations
- Manage all aspects of daily office operations - managing vendors, supplies, facilities, and layout to keep things running smoothly.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and shipments, and organize event-related supplies and materials.
- Ensure the office is fully stocked, functional, and reflects our brand values (healthy, energized, high-performance).
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal team needs and visiting guests.
- Coordinate team lunches, offsites, company events, and travel logistics.
- Track and manage office-related budgets and expenses.
- Support IT and onboarding logistics in partnership with the Talent team.
People & Culture Support
- Partner with the Director of People to help implement team rituals, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Help create thoughtful onboarding experiences - from welcome kits to in-office tours and team intros.
- Help execute in-office interviews, greet candidates, and manage logistics to ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.
- Collaborate on culture surveys, all-hands prep, internal comms, and swag coordination.
- Spot opportunities to improve how we show up for each other - and take the lead in making them happen.
What you’ll bring:
- A desire to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move packages or boxes over 20 pounds.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to navigate a range of interpersonal dynamics.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable being hands-on and present in the office.
- No ego when it comes to pitching in - whether it’s high-level coordination or scrappy tasks.
- A proactive problem-solver with strong follow-through and a sense of ownership.
- Collaborative, self-driven, and eager to contribute to a growing team.
- Passionate about working at an early-stage CPG brand with a mission to help people increase muscle and decrease fat.
Practicalities:
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week — when the culture fits, it is fun to be in the office together.
- Salary: $50 - $70K per year
- 100% covered Health, Vision, Dental Insurance.
- 401(k) with 4% match.
- Additional perks, such as covered gym expenses.
- Substantial and required PTO.
Application Process:
- Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis
- Target start date: Mid August or Early September 2025
