Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a software engineer with a track record of great front end work, willing to begin as an individual contributor and grow into a leadership role as the company evolves. The ideal candidate learns new things out of habit, goes above and beyond as a matter of course, and is able to both debug our existing code base as well as extend the architecture to exceed our customer's needs for years to come. This is a career growth opportunity and an ideal candidate will leverage their front end expertise to contribute to our back end, embedded systems and extend the state of the art in construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross functional team to define product requirements
• Own the architecture of our front end and inform the architecture of the back end and firmware
• Take personal responsibility for the quality and reliability of our software implementation
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a software engineer
• BS or equivalent in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Strong CS fundamentals
• Comfortable with React, Angular, Ember or other modern web application frameworks
• Experienced with or willing to learn server and firmware development
• Familiar with industry standard best practices for bug tracking, source control, CI/CD, TDD
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
