Titan Advanced Energy Solutions makes advanced ultrasound-based battery diagnostics systems for customers that need deep insights into the battery cells they make and use. With numerous awards and grants, and a recent B-Round of funding, Titan is ramping up our fantastic team for an exciting next phase of growth.

We are looking to add an Electrical Test & Laboratory Engineer to be part of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and delivering new, fit-for-purpose ultrasound-based battery diagnostic solutions. These efforts will also directly support key Titan business opportunities, making Titan the partner of choice for customers who want leading-edge cell manufacturing productivity.

A successful candidate for this role will be a creative and energetic system-level thinker, with maturing technical abilities to support system development, characterization, verification, and assembly.

In this role you will

· Be a key contributor in a small, technical team that tests and documents battery cells using ultrasonic imaging systems under development.

· Build, test, and troubleshoot electrical/electronic circuitry and other systems used in finished equipment and internal laboratory test systems.

· Develop and document system cabling.

· Set up equipment to capture test data and produce reports.

· Maintain parts inventory and kit parts for PCB builds. Interact with key external suppliers as needed to deliver parts and systems.

· Troubleshoot PCBA's and perform rework such as replacement of components (surface mount, connectors, IC's) etc. Solder prototype models and modify circuit boards as requested.

· Step into other roles as necessary to assist with the completion of high priority projects.

Who you are

· Recent graduate with 2 or 4 yr technical degree, or equivalent.

· Likes working in an engineering environment or laboratory.

· Likes learning from other engineers and technical papers and documents.

· Likes using computers to make work faster.

· Likes a mix of hands-on hardware work and application of your technical skills.

· Ability to provide creative, yet pragmatic solutions to technical problems and experiments.

· Attention to detail and organization.
