The Role:
We are seeking a passionate, curious, and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our global enterprise sales team. In this role, you will drive our business success by executing outbound prospecting strategies and ABM campaigns, targeting national and global enterprise level organizations.
You will work directly with our sales and marketing teams, taking charge of generating new business opportunities through cold calling, strategic outreach, and relationship management. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with making numerous calls per day, able to understand customer needs and requirements, and skilled in translating these insights into opportunities for the sales team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting outbound prospecting to generate new business opportunities with global enterprise organizations, large municipalities, and investor-owned utilities.
- Performing high volume cold calling to potential clients, nurturing leads, and identifying sales opportunities.
- Identifying key decision-makers, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle.
- Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop target account lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business.
- Documenting, tracking, and managing all activities in our CRM system.
- Understanding and maintaining in-depth knowledge of our product suite and the value proposition for customers.
How success will be determined:
- Consistent achievement of monthly quota goals
- Meeting weekly prospect engagement activity standards (calls)
- Generation of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
- Creation of new opportunities in pipeline within ICP
We would love to hear from YOU if some of these sound like you:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in outbound sales prospecting and lead generation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly comfortable with high volume cold calling and presenting to C-level executives.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo)
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
- Fluent in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a significant plus.
Location:
Work from anywhere in North America
Willingness to travel to company team building events while adhering to COVID guidelines, and ability to travel internationally.
